Two people outside my cubicle talking for about 30 minutes about how the minorities are TAKIN’ URR JAHBSS and that the extreme leftists are blah blah blah. I’ve got Tool full blast on my headphones, and I can still here them. Oh wait, now they’re talking about the Trump Wall. Just great, we only have half a dozen Mexican-Americans employed here, who cares if someone hears you, right? I just wanna do my fucking job. No matter your political leanings, please save it for the bar. I don’t want to hear about any evil Republicans or the incompetent Democrats during business hours. Fuck.

Why does a chandelier inspector have a cubicle?

I inspect stuff, then I go back to my incomplete box and design stuff, then people buy stuff from me, or maybe they don’t, and so on.

My fellow office workers spent 30 minutes debating if a straw has one hole or two.

Your coworkers don’t understand the concept of a tube?

Taking them, or did they lose them?
Important distinction. Union mentality.

I would welcome such a meaningful debate with open arms.

Or no holes if you view it as a rotational extrusion ...

I am going to bring this up at the coffee pot next week. That is an excellent debate.

Do the back seats in the sportcross fold down? If so, how is the cargo space when folded as such?

NO PERLATI— oh.
The seats do fold all the way down, and the front passenger seat folds flat which is handy.
Cargo space is pitiful compared to the Tercel or my wife’s not-a-Corolla — 40 cubic feet with the back seats down (excludes the front passenger area). But doggo fits so me no care.

Bonus round: if you poke a hole in it with a pin, now how many holes does it have?

I’m saying two more if you poke all the way through.

Did it go all the way through? It gained 2 if so; otherwise just one.

Thanks! I’m seriously considering one of these as my next car. I’m sure it’ll be tiny compared to the crown vic but that’s sort of a goal - I don’t need that much car. Cargo space wise, I’m interested in footprint more than volume, for things like lumber and so on.

Well if you ever want a physical measurement, let me know. I don’t use it for stuff like that because, you know, mah (mini)truck

I made the argument that a straw was one hole, but by poking a single hole in the side, the straw now has three holes.

I wonder what they think about the laundered offshore sketchy/dirty money playing in the local real estate game, money that likely helps to pay their salaries. All OK, no doubt.

Why is Tool so popular in the PNW? It’s kind of weird, although at least y’all have two or three radio stations that play old school hip hop and R&B, but the rock stations were nothing, but Tool and PearlJam.

It can be a bad thing when you’re trying to get work done, but I agree that the debate was valid. I’m a chemist, but my desk is in a room with a dozen other chemists. It can get distracting.

Snazzy chandeliers though. I’ve learned the key is to do unimpressive work but create an impressive product. Hospitality furniture assembly taught me that one.
